Welcome to a winter season that is truly out of this world…

Every year, HART meticulously curates a captivating lineup of shows sourced from community submissions. This unique selection provides our talented artists with a platform to challenge themselves, embody dream roles, and bring to life productions they are truly passionate about. This year’s lineup not only showcases some of these cherished “dream shows” for individual performers but also introduces exciting directorial debuts all while offering you outstanding talent that will transport you to another world.

 

Please be advised that our Winter season is not always as family-friendly as our Main Stage line up. We kindly ask you to carefully review advisory warnings to ensure your theatrical experience aligns with your preferences and expectations.

An Act of God was submitted by Pasquale LaCorte as a dream role to perform. He teams up again with Candice Dickinson who directed him in the sold out run of Say Goodnight, Gracie. The show had a limited run in 2015 starring Jim Parsons and then Sean Hayes as God and received a Tony Award Nomination for best performance.

Starring Pasquale LaCorte as God.

God sits down to discuss the mysteries of life and explains how humans got it all wrong. With the help of his archangels, Gabriel, played by David Spivey, and Micheal, played by ??, God is asked to examine some of humanities most pressing questions and introduces his brand new set of commandments.

This year, we feature duets from some of the incredible couples who perform regularly at HART including: Clara Burrus & Dominic Aquilino, Tabitha Judy & Strother Stingley, Kristen & Graham Livengood, and Adrienne & Matt Blanks and a special performance from Lyn Donley. Candice Dickinson hosts the evening, performing several solos along the way. Last years Cabaret sold out in 2 weeks, so don’t wait to purchase your seats!

Valentines Day Cabaret

Join Candice Dickinson and a bevy of incredible HART couples for our 2nd annual Valentine’s Day Cabaret! Enjoy intimate cabaret table seating with wine by the bottle and desserts for sale. Snuggle up to your valentines date as you enjoy some of the regions most talented singers serenading you.

Submitted by Mark Colbenson who is making his Directing Debut at HART but is no stranger to the stage. You saw him in 2021 as Dr. Sanderson in Harvey, but Mark has had a long career on the stage as a performer, director, set designer, and artistic director. The cast features Stephen Gonya as Cooper and Jack Heinen as his pal Aylott.

A Month of Sundays

Submitted by Jason Williams who directed the Studio Season hit Recycled Nuts in 2023. Jason, along with Mandy Bean, additionaly runs the production company The Multiverse Theatre Collective. You’ve seen Jason’s lighting design for many productions at HART including Big Fish, Cinderella, Every Brilliant Thing, Spamalot, Good Ol Girls, and Death of a Salesman. The rock infused musical has equally taken teens in Musical Theatre by storm since its release in 2014. Constellations was submitted by Julie Kinter as a dream role performance. Originally slated for the ???? HART studio season but cancelled for various reasons, Julie has been dying to get the show back on its feet ever since. She will star along side Matt Edwardsen, who you saw in 2023 as King Arthur in Spamalot and Edward Bloom in Big Fish. The show also gives Nichole Sumpter a much anticipated Directorial Debut. Nichole is HART’s Graphic Designer and Social Media Manager who quite literally grew up at HART and has Stage Managed countless shows for HART and in the community.
